When you think of New York City, what comes to mind? Hot dog stands, cabs, all of the major sites. Yes, me too. I fit more into timessqmy day trip into this magical city then I thought possible. Lunch at the very affordable and absolutely divine Carmines, a purchase at Tiffanys, a Naked Cowboy (Oh excuse me, THE Naked Cowboy), Anthropologie, The Plaza, St. Patrick's Cathedral and a whole lot more. All in 5 hours. Yes, I said FIVE HOURS! I had the pleasure of going into the city with two fantastic ladies from Philly who knew how to get me the best experience in the small amount of time I had. Let me go back in time for a moment. The last time I had visited this larger than life city was 1983. I've traveled to so many other wonderful cities but not this one. I was five years old the last time I visited NYC...I'm 33.

flagWe headed out to the links on Labor Day weekend to Lake Pleasant Golf Course.

It's a small, picturesque 9 hole course. Despite having a nasty thunderstorm the night before we decided it was worth a shot to get out on Labor Day Weekend. It ended up being a perfect morning, 75 degrees with a light breeze and some sunshine.

In my opinion, morning golf is the best. The grass is filled with dew, all of nature is just waking up and because you beat the crowd you feel like you have a VIP pass to the course of your choice.

This course is small but it's pretty challenging. With long par 4's and technical par 3's it sets you up to make sure you have your A game on! The course offers 3 par 3 holes and 6 par 4 holes. It is easily accessible for those players who prefer to walk, however they also offer riding carts and pull carts.
